11.3.1 Set network on Center

Check that network device is switched on and ﬁrewall (if applicable) is switched off.

Connect supplied Ethernet cable to Ethernet ports on network device and Center.

Press MENU to enter the menu screen

Use 3 or 4 and 2 to enter Settings followed by Network, then Wired.

Press 2 to continue.

In Set IP Mode screen: If you are using a DHCP* enabled network device, select Automatic.

* DHCP stands for Dynamic Host Conﬁguration Protocol. It is a protocol for assigning dynamic IP

addresses to devices on a network.

If there is no DHCP, select Static and assign an IP address and subnet mask as prompted using the

alphanumeric keys (see 4.4 Alphanumeric keys).This procedure is applicable only, if you already

have a wired network (hub / switch / router) in your home.

On Center

As prompted, select YES to apply settings.

> Center is connected to the external wired network.

On the display the icon is changed to .
